Norm Harris of Norman’s Rare Guitars has a long history of supporting the Midnight Mission in Los Angeles. Each year, Norm participates in the Mission’s Christmas toy drive by giving away guitars to children in attendance. In 2023, Yamaha Guitar Group began collaborating with Norm on this activity by providing Córdoba Protégé guitars for the giveaway. This year, Yamaha Guitar Group was able to provide 100 guitars consisting of Protégé and Guild Traveler models!
This year Brandon Soriano, Yamaha Marketing Manager, participated in this event with Norm and the Midnight Mission and it was incredibly special. Seeing the look of joy and excitement on a child’s face after being given their first instrument, and the accompanying look of pride and happiness on their family's faces, is a reminder that music is one of the most powerful aspects of humanity.
