NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The Smashing Pumpkins Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") and these Official Rules are governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the United States. Valid only to legal United States residents (excluding Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and Guam) who are eighteen (18) years of age and older at time of entry. All federal, state, local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited, taxed, licensed or restricted by law.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD. This Sweepstakes begins June 19th, 2018 and ends July 19th, 2018 ("Sweepstakes Period").
SWEEPSTAKES SPONSOR. This Sweepstakes is sponsored and administered by Yamaha Guitar Group, Inc., 26580 Agoura Road, Calabasas, California 91302 (the "Sponsor"). Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and any decisions made by Sponsor.
ENTER ON-LINE BY: Accessing www.yamahaguitargroup.com/the-smashing-pumpkins-sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period, click on the designated icon to go to the Sweepstakes. Follow the on-screen instructions. All entries are deemed made by the holder of the e-mail account. All on-line entries must be received no later than July 19th, 2018.
PRIZES.
One (1) Prizewinner. The Prizewinner and a guest of his/her choice will receive two (2) roundtrip economy-class air tickets from their closest major U.S. airport to Las Vegas for an all-expenses-paid1 trip to see The Smashing Pumpkins perform on Sunday, September 2nd, 2018 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas where Prizewinner will receive one (1) custom-painted Yamaha LJ16BC acoustic guitar that guitarist Billy Corgan will play during the performance and autograph following the show. Prizewinner and guest will also be invited to watch The Smashing Pumpkins’ private soundcheck during the afternoon of the day of the show, Sunday, September 2nd, 2018.2
The Prizewinner will be notified by e-mail on or about July 26th, 2018. The Prizewinner will have fifteen (15) business days to claim their prize. Prizewinner must sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within ten (10) business days of notification.
A disqualification will result and an alternate winner will be randomly selected if the above documents are not signed and returned within the designated time, a prize notification is refused, an entrant is found to be ineligible or non-compliant with these Official Rules, or the prize remains unclaimed for over 15 business days. There is no substitution for any prize or portion thereof, except due to unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded at the discretion of Sponsor. Prizes are not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash. The Prize may be subject to change based on changes in The Smashing Pumpkins’ performance schedule. The Prizewinner will be fully responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes.
All entries are subject to verification prior to awarding of prizes. Eligibility, age, and claims made by prize winners also are subject to verification prior to awarding of prizes.
The travel portion of the prize has an approximate retail value (ARV) of $3000 and the guitar has an ARV of $1575.

The following expenses are specifically EXCLUDED from the Prize Package: hotel room incidentals, mini bar or room service costs, telephone charges, taxes and gratuities, meals, and ground transportation.

DRAWING. The prizewinner (“Prizewinner”) will be randomly selected from all completed and eligible entries that were timely received. The random drawing will be held on or about July 19th, 2018. Odds of being randomly selected are determined by the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Only one (1) entry per person. If multiple entries are received from any person or e-mail address, all subsequent entries will be disqualified. All entries and their content become property of Sponsor and will not be returned. All entries submitted will be used for the purpose of selecting the Prizewinner as described in these Official Rules.
If a prospective prizewinner is found ineligible or fails to comply with these Official Rules, his/her claim to a prize is forfeited and an alternate entry will be randomly selected.
GENERAL CONDITIONS. The Sponsor makes no warranties, express or implied.
Employees and their immediate families members (defined as spouses, parents, children and legal dependents – including foster and step family members, grandparents, grandchildren, brothers and sisters) or person(s) living in the same household of an employee of Sponsor or Sponsor’s officers, directors, agents and independent contractors are not eligible to enter this Sweepstakes.
PRIVACY STATEMENT. Participants’ personal information, in conjunction with this Sweepstakes, will be utilized by Sponsor for the sole purpose of selecting the Prizewinner and will be kept only as long as required by law. Unless otherwise authorized by a participant, participants’ information will not be sold, rented or given to any other third party. Notwithstanding the privacy statement and policy, if selected as a Prizewinner, Prizewinner agrees, except where prohibited, to grant Sponsor and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees and agents to use his/her name, entry contents, visual and audio likeness, biographical data and statements for any purpose, including but not limited to any commercial or publicity purpose, in perpetuity and throughout the universe, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, without additional compensation or consideration.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. By entering, participants, their agents, assigns and successors release Sponsor and its parent company, trustees, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, directors, officers, employees, agents, independent contractors, promotional partners, and prize providers from any and all liability for any costs or expenses resulting from entry in the Sweepstakes and from any and all liability whatsoever, including, without limitation, for any injuries, death, losses or damages of any kind caused by or in connection with any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, quality, use or misuse of any prize, or any portion of the prize, or parts thereof (including any travel or activity related thereto). All entrants further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses, injuries or death arising from or relating to the Sweepstakes, and any prizewinner’s use of any prize, they will indemnify Sponsor from any and all such claim, including attorney’s fees related thereto.
Sponsor and their respective parent companies, trustees, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, directors, officers, employees, agents, and independent contractors are not responsible for any kind of computer transmission, electronic, hardware, internet, software, network, technical or telephone failures and any damaged, delayed, garbled, illegible, incomplete, late, lost, misplaced, misaddressed, misdirected or stolen mail or e-mail.
Participant agrees that by entering this Sweepstakes, Sponsor may seek damages from participant if participant deliberately damages Sponsor’s website or any other website in conjunction with participant’s partaking in this Sweepstakes or if participant interferes with the legitimate operation of this Sweepstakes, it is in violation of civil or criminal law.
If, in Sponsor’s exclusive judgment, this Sweepstakes becomes compromised in any way, Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the Sweepstakes offer, cancel any method of entry and/or select the prizewinner from all eligible entries received prior to the withdrawal.
FORCE MAJEURE: Without limiting any other provision in these Official Rules, in the event that any of the entrants’ activities or the Sponsor’s operations or activities are affected, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, including, without limitation, by reason of any acts of God, any action, regulation, order or request by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action, regulations, order or request proves to be invalid), equipment failure, threatened terrorist acts, terrorist acts, air raid, blackout, act of public enemy, earthquake, war (declared or undeclared), fire, flood, epidemic or public health crisis, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal) labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any law, rule, regulation, order or other action adopted or taken by any governmental, federal, state or local government authority, or any other cause, whether or not specifically mentioned above, subject to any governmental approval that may be required, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes, and Sponsor shall not be responsible or liable to any entrant or prize winner or any person claiming through such entrant or prize winner for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof. Sponsor is not responsible for electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant’s e-mail account to receive e-mail messages.
WINNERS LIST. For a printed copy of the Official Rules or a Winners List, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Yamaha Guitar Group, Inc. - "The Smashing Pumpkins Sweepstakes," 26580 Agoura Road, Calabasas, California 91302 (indicate which). Residents of Vermont with a return address in Vermont may omit the return postage on their request. Winners List replies will be sent after completion of the Sweepstakes.
